Play Your Ground – Monochrome Look

Play Your Ground – Monochrome Look

You can stick, stand and hold your ground like most of us do but theres also nothing you can obtain when you do not budge from certain mindsets you have about things. Hence - play your ground and experiment with new things that may take you aback. There is nothing you will learn if you do not make that decision. I always stood to my ground about the decision to never cut my hair short. Well, you can say I played my ground and shaved it completely. Now I feel so confident of myself as this was my biggest insecurity and I actually really like my hair as it is continuously growing. And you know what? I plan to keep it short for a long long time. This has made…

Adding Sustainable vintage wear into your closet ft. Red Empress Label

Fashion
Nothing like wearing the vintage outfits you have owned for a while. But Red Empress Label is where you can find all the best vintage pieces that the founders Aesha Merchant and Asu Lkr have thrifted from all around the world during their travel escapades. Aesha's family is based in New Zealand and she often visits them and comes back with a lot of thrifted vintage pieces. The best part about these beautiful outfits are that they come at a very reasonable price compared to other labels who sell such vintage wear. The average price range would be between ₹2500 -₹4000 per outfit which is a steal deal for such one of a kind pieces. No wonder you see clients buying off the shirts in bulk. I happened to hide some shirts…

Can I Rather do Indoors?

Can I Rather do Indoors?

Fashion, Travel
Hello all. Back at it with my shoot at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. I let out a drop or two of tears, the ones that are not considered crocodile by any means. The beauty of the place can get me forgetive at any given point in the palace. I mean, the intricacy of the interiors; be it the carvings on wood, painting on walls, tiles on the floor can get your creative juices flowing instantly. If I stayed any longer, I'd probably write a book as good as 'Call me by your name'. A room filled with treenware, especially the center piece made me click nearly all my pictures of this look around it. This Saint Laurent jacket completely took me off guard and pairing it with these Gucci snake…

My Comfort Work Wear for the Summers

My Comfort Work Wear for the Summers

Fashion, Lifestyle, Travel
Work got you running around outdoors? Fret not as I experience the same. Styling and Blogging makes me have to get out of the house and hop around different shoot locations, designer stores and more which require you to be on the run always. So you are not just sitting in an air conditioned space throughout the day, but constantly sweating it out in the humidity or the scorching heat of your respective city. As comfortable as I would like to be at all times, I do not happen to be a neatnik, so I make the effort to dress up and incorporate the latest trends that get my liking. But there definitely are so many trends that I would not follow. So its good to wear what you're comfortable…

Blogging for me may have started for the craic, if only I knew the hard work and time that needs to be put in to function or even qualify as one. You need to stay relevant, stand out, have your niche audience and always persist. So have a dekko at my latest look and get immersed in the beauty of the Palace that is - Taj Falaknuma Palace. I have heard from every single person who has visited the palace that it is one of the most magnificent marvel they have ever come across. Meriggiare – The Summer Getaway

Hello all! So here's my first blog post after shaving my head as promised. Now I can truly call myself 'The Style Versatile' as my hairstyle was the only constant amid all my different outfit looks. I happened to go to Hyderabad for a getaway to shoot some great looks that I have saved for a while. It's been extremely exciting as the theme for all these upcoming looks are influenced by luxury brands that I have accumulated for this shoot. I can be rather bunglesome while preparing looks or posing for the camera, but the whole process of the shoot has been extremely kosher all thanks to Prachi Sharma who's a very talented photographer and she always gets my best shots. So stay geared as you will be seeing…

Patan Durbar Square X TSV

Patan Durbar Square X TSV

Fashion, Travel
Yes my hair is gone. This is a throwback post that I shot right before I got my hair shaved. I really liked this whole look that I created with my mothers faux fur jacket and did not want to risk wasting it incase my 'shaved head look' turned out bad. Patan Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares in Kathmandu Valley and is located in the centre of Lalitpur, Nepal. It is recognized as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was unfortunately heavily damaged by the 2015 earthquake. These Persol vintage sunglasses belong to my grandmother. I had to make good use of it while visiting home so I made sure to utilize this in my shoot as well. Patan Durbar Square is hands down my favourite spot…

Swayambhu – Erdem X HM

Swayambhu – Erdem X HM

Fashion, Travel
One of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage - Swayambhunath is a beautiful sight to see. This place shouldn’t be missed by any tourists who visit Kathmandu, Nepal. It is atop a hill and consisted of several sublime trees where it got its name Swayambhu from. The Stupa is surrounded by prayer wheels, prayers flags and beautiful street shops with artefacts that are a feast to the eyes. I wore this beautiful shirt by HM’s collaboration with Erdem which is Erdem’s first men’s collection. Erdem is known for their floral prints and this outfit felt like the perfect shirt to wear in a stupa where people are seeking blessings to blossom in their respective lives. Handcuffs are by Kesya Jaipur. I made my prayer, got some beautiful pictures clicked and went…
