An Epic Interstellar Journey by Andamen Life – Astra Collection

Fashion
Hi guys. I know it’s been a while since my last blog. I have been working on my vlog which I have already started shooting and editing for. I’m really excited to begin my vlog journey. Talking about the vlog, I have also worn this shirt in the pictures from Andamen Life’s latest collection called Astra. Quoting their website, this happens to be their ‘most ambitious collection yet’. About what motivated them for this collection, “ Our stellar journey outward led us here. We discovered ourselves while watching the stars dance in the infinite space. We struggled. We strived. We fought. We survived. We celebrated. We longed. We loved. We discovered. Now, we dream.” About the collection: “Join three brave astronauts who set out on an interstellar journey to explore…

Tommy Hilfiger X Jaipur – Jantar Mantar

Fashion, Travel
During my travels to Jaipur this December of 2018, I got the pleasure to visit the UNESCO World heritage site called Jantar Mantar that have about 19 architectural astronomical instruments that were built way back in the early 18th century by King Sawai Jai Singh II. These huge arc like structures almost makes you feel like you are around a futuristic construction. It was quite a surprising change from the beautiful age old palaces around Jaipur. This Tommy Hilfiger X Louis Hamilton Sweater added to the futuristic looking venue and got me some great shots. Take a look below. Andamen Life – Jaipur 2018

To be honest, the Instagram page of Andamen Life caught my attention at first. Apart from being perfectly aesthetic, I was pleased to open their posts and see some comforting earthy tones of apparels. In short, they define themselves as 'Modern India|Contemporary Styling| Affordable Luxury'. Would it be partial to say that I was instantly sold? As I wore the tee, the quality of the unadulterated 100% certified Supima cotton was understood. According to the brand, 'This tee is spun into a 50's yarn - two times finer than a regular tee.' More about the tee is mentioned at the end of this post. The lightness of the Shacket did not stop it from providing me warmth in the cold december mornings of Jaipur, Rajasthan. According to the brand, 'The…

Patan is one of the oldest Buddhist cities. It is a center of both Hinduism and Buddhism with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Most of these structures are in the vicinity of the Durbar SquareWikipedia Being the handicraft city of Nepal, Patan consists of the valleys finest craftsmen who have been known to have passed down ancient art techniques from their forefathers for several centuries. Walking past these stalls and stores will get you to admire brass sculptures of Buddha and Hindu gods, Thanka paintings, and many other metal works. I got along my Copenhagen Grooming kit to Nepal to use during my travels. Shawl attach Wrap by Tarun Tahiliani Photography by Santosh Chhantyal

Play Your Ground – Monochrome Look

Play Your Ground – Monochrome Look

Fashion, Travel
You can stick, stand and hold your ground like most of us do but theres also nothing you can obtain when you do not budge from certain mindsets you have about things. Hence - play your ground and experiment with new things that may take you aback. There is nothing you will learn if you do not make that decision. I always stood to my ground about the decision to never cut my hair short. Well, you can say I played my ground and shaved it completely. Now I feel so confident of myself as this was my biggest insecurity and I actually really like my hair as it is continuously growing. And you know what? I plan to keep it short for a long long time. This has made…

Adding Sustainable vintage wear into your closet ft. Red Empress Label

Fashion
Nothing like wearing the vintage outfits you have owned for a while. But Red Empress Label is where you can find all the best vintage pieces that the founders Aesha Merchant and Asu Lkr have thrifted from all around the world during their travel escapades. Aesha's family is based in New Zealand and she often visits them and comes back with a lot of thrifted vintage pieces. The best part about these beautiful outfits are that they come at a very reasonable price compared to other labels who sell such vintage wear. The average price range would be between ₹2500 -₹4000 per outfit which is a steal deal for such one of a kind pieces. No wonder you see clients buying off the shirts in bulk. I happened to hide some shirts…

Can I Rather do Indoors?

Can I Rather do Indoors?

Fashion, Travel
Hello all. Back at it with my shoot at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. I let out a drop or two of tears, the ones that are not considered crocodile by any means. The beauty of the place can get me forgetive at any given point in the palace. I mean, the intricacy of the interiors; be it the carvings on wood, painting on walls, tiles on the floor can get your creative juices flowing instantly. If I stayed any longer, I'd probably write a book as good as 'Call me by your name'. A room filled with treenware, especially the center piece made me click nearly all my pictures of this look around it. This Saint Laurent jacket completely took me off guard and pairing it with these Gucci snake…

My Comfort Work Wear for the Summers

My Comfort Work Wear for the Summers

Fashion, Lifestyle, Travel
Work got you running around outdoors? Fret not as I experience the same. Styling and Blogging makes me have to get out of the house and hop around different shoot locations, designer stores and more which require you to be on the run always. So you are not just sitting in an air conditioned space throughout the day, but constantly sweating it out in the humidity or the scorching heat of your respective city. As comfortable as I would like to be at all times, I do not happen to be a neatnik, so I make the effort to dress up and incorporate the latest trends that get my liking. But there definitely are so many trends that I would not follow. So its good to wear what you're comfortable…
